The hotel had a lovely, cozy ambiance that made me feel right at home. The general areas were always kept tidy and clean, and the accessibility for senior people was top-notch. The staff was incredibly helpful and considerate, ensuring that I had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. I never had to worry about navigating stairs or difficult pathways, which was a relief for someone like me.
I would suggest having more senior-friendly activities or amenities available. As a senior woman, I would have appreciated some gentle exercise options or relaxation areas specifically designed for older guests.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming atmosphere of Cloud Inn Kandy. The decoration had a touch of traditional Sri Lankan style, which made me feel like I was truly experiencing the local culture. The general areas were well-maintained and spacious, making it easy for me to navigate around as a senior woman. Additionally, the staff at the guest house were very attentive and helped me with anything I needed during my stay.
The only thing I would have asked for is for the children working there to provide more options for activities suitable for senior people. It would have been great to have some organized excursions or leisure activities specifically designed for older guests.

I chose this hotel for attending a conclave as it is located in the business district. The facilities were well-maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring a comfortable stay during my work trip.
The only service I missed for my work was a dedicated business center or conference room, which would have been convenient for meetings and work-related activities.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a charming inn in Kandy. the host at Cloud Inn was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and their knowledge about Sri Lankan society was impressive. the rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean, making for a comfortable stay. the highlight for me was the delicious breakfast, which went beyond the traditional continental options with yogurt and cereals. I also appreciated the silent fan in the room, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The inn's location was ideal, just a short 5-minute walk from the city center and the beautiful lake. Cons: All good! 😊.

I stayed at this cozy guesthouse for a few nights and absolutely loved it! The warm hospitality of the owners, Martina and Nish, made me feel right at home. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and impeccably clean. I appreciated the hot running water in the bathroom and the mosquito plug-in repellent. Martina was incredibly knowledgeable about Sri Lanka and provided invaluable travel tips. The location was quiet but still within walking distance of all the local attractions. Highly recommended!

The family running the hotel was incredibly friendly and welcoming, despite the language barrier. the manager's mother even taught my wife how to make a traditional Sri Lankan dish, which was a special and generous touch. We also had the opportunity to join them on a visit to a nearby Buddhist sacred place, which was a unique and memorable experience. the rooms were clean and comfortable, with good AC and lighting. the breakfast provided was delicious and filling, keeping us satisfied until late in the day. the view from the balcony was also beautiful, overlooking a green mountain.
One minor issue was the low pressure of the hot water in the hotel. It wasn't a big problem, but it did make showering a bit less enjoyable.

Breakfast offerings could be improved with more variety and attention to detail.
